Dear uncle Dennie, I never met you and you never met me, but I am your niece Annetta's daughter Kristen. I've heard stories about you that I am very proud of. I am very proud of you for guarding the tomb of the unknown soldier, but I am proud to say you are in my family because of the way my grandpa talks about you. The way he talks about you makes me believe that you two were close, and I also thank you for getting my grandma and grandpa together :) It means a lot. I wish we could have met, because I know that I would have loved to sit down and listen to you tell your stories about the army and growing up with my grandpa. You and your mom are very important people in our family and in our lives and hearts always. We will all be together in Heaven one day. Until then, RIP uncle Dennie and love always, your great niece Kristen.
For You Big Brother
I could almost sit down and write you a book my dear sweet big brother Dennie! I know you are my brother in law, but we never really thought so, you were so neat. And even neater now as I write this. Years have gone by Dennie, but you are never forgotten.
Dave and I think of you so often, I know you are listening as I write this, it's amazing at what faith can do and know that you are there still.
All the things we experienced together when we were so much younger. Someday we will meet again you know and we sure have a lot of catching up to do.
We miss you Dennie, when we went to FL a few weeks ago, I know you were there too in your spirit with us, but sure would of been complete if all of us could of set out on Jenny & Lewis's patio and laughed and talked like we used to.
I guess sometimes the times I think of you most isn't because of the job you did in the Army, which I am proud of. But special things like you enjoyed my cooking for you so much and never ever will I forget the special blind date you set me up with 38 years ago! LOL! I love you Dennie, thanks for giving me Dave. Hugs big brother from me to you.

Dave has talked about you often & about when you guarded the tomb of the unknown soldier, he seemed to be always so proud of you.
Your nephew & my niece had a baby boy that is one of Gods newest Angels in heaven now,..I"M sure youve found him, his name is Jayse..
Will you please watch over him 24/7 like you did that man in the tomb of the unknown soldier.
